Major Compliance Criteria
A limited number of Compliance Criteria (CC) have been classified as “Major”.
Fulfilment of these criteria implies compliance with the fundamental principles, which are mainly linked to minimum requirements of the Fairtrade Standards. If Non-Conformity with Major Compliance Criteria is identified during an audit (Renewal or Focused), this may lead to a suspension of the current certificate or decertification.
