A global certificate may only be issued when 80% or more of your global workforce is employed in countries that are audited.

IGOs are often created by and funded through multilateral agreements between nations. While sited in a particular nation, an IGO is usually not governed or managed by national employment or related laws: staff may be contracted under a set of international employment terms and conditions, and policies and practices that apply to all staff regardless of their country of operation (e.g. consistent with United Nations contracts of employment). The IGO effectively operates as a single jurisdiction entity, with countries of operation functioning like business units under the central or HQ entity.
